- Every $1 in donations invested by local residents, businesses, religious, and civic groups, generates $20 worth of program services through matching funds from government contracts, foundation grants and in-kind donations of supplies, equipment and professional services.
- 88.3% of funding goes to direct services, with 11.7% used for administrative and fundraising costs (2003 independent audit).
- A holiday gift/greeting card enterprise was launched in 2002 to expand renewable revenue sources.
