October 6, 2011 - Cottage Housing Inc.'s newest wealth-building endeavor was recently highlighted on News10's Sacramento & Co. The live segment aired across the region, and provided viewers with a chance to learn how Cottage Housing is working to create jobs and promote lifestyle changes with their participants. David Husid, VP of Community Development and Cornell Battle, Finishing Touch Manager, appeared on the segment and provided insight about the power of Finishing Touch, as well as the unique story behind what sets the business apart.
June 14, 2010 - Cottage Housing received two recognition awards Wednesday, June 9th.
At the Center for Fathers & Families Salute to Fatherhood Banquet, Robert Tobin received the 2010 Local Hero Award. Rick Jennings, CEO of the Center for Fathers and Families recognized Robert for his commitment and leadership in strengthening families and building communities in Sacramento.
Both Serna Village and Quinn Cottages received the “Elmo” Award for volunteer service to KVIE. Both programs have been volunteering regularly for the past three years to support KVIE’s phone banks.
